The article mentions “According the medical seat matrix, the government – private college ratio is 42:58; 23:73 for minority institutions and 15:85 for deemed universities.” But many of the reputed medical colleges in Karnataka are missing in the KEA CET 2009 brochure. eg. JNMC Belgaum, St Johns Bangalore. Any one knows why there is no Govt quota seats in these colleges..?

What about the increase in no. of seats in medical stream? though MCI as given permission, the KEA had planned to increase 600 seats more than the last year. So , is it true that there’ll be 600 more seats than last year’s seat matrix? Hope the govt. do so!
